⛳️ Let’s help protect another local golf course!

I’ve just seen that Bloor Homes are starting the planning application process again to build 200 homes on the land at Shrivenham Park Golf Club.

Having already lost Faringdon Golf Club and Carswell GC, it’s so important we don’t lose another one. Golf courses like Shrivenham Park aren’t just for golfers — they’re vital green spaces that support wildlife, give people a place to walk, exercise, and connect, and bring real value to the community. 🌳💚

The club have been through this before about 7 years ago, and the plans didn’t go through then — but it looks like we need to stand together once again to protect what’s left of our local courses.

Shrivenham Park Golf Club have said they have no plans to close and will remain open as long as they can — but they need community support more than ever.

Let’s come together and show that our local courses matter. 🏌️‍♂️💪
